Moisture removal and energy use
The manual specifies 9 pints/day at 65°F and 60% RH, and up to 32 pints/day at 95°F and 90% RH. These are different test conditions. The 32-pint figure is not the ENERGY STAR rated capacity.
The ENERGY STAR record for UDH0125 lists a rated capacity of 9.0 pints/day, an Integrated Energy Factor of 1.92 L/kWh and annual energy use of 105 kWh/year. Actual energy use depends on operating conditions and run time.
Everyday controls and drainage
- Auto, continuous and sleep modes, adjustable humidity control and an LED display.
- Child lock and two fan speeds.
- A 0.53 US gallon (2 L) water tank and continuous drainage using the included PE pipe. Follow the manual when positioning the drain hose.
