I purchased 2 of these units from Amazon in Jan of 24 3 months later my Mother said the unit was getting hot. I called and sent emails to the company and have still not gotten any response from them. BUYER RUN FROM ANY THING THEY SELL!
Doesn’t hold charge very long
I purchased the Ukoke portable AC unit 12000 BTU last summer on May 28, 2023. One month after using it, I noticed that the AC output was very weak. I cleaned the filters as told, even though they weren't that dirty, I attempted to drain the water, but the unit was dry, no water to drain at all. I had the unit for 4 or 5 months when it started to malfunction. On October 7, 2023 Ukoke sent me a new unit. I kept the unit in the box until May 2024. To avoid the unit malfunctioning as it did last summer, I didn't keep it running continuously. The new unit had only been running for two months or less and it stopped working also. I continuously emailed customer service. Finally, they promised to replace the unit, but only if I would pay for the shipping fee. I agreed to pay for the shipping fee, but customer service would not get back to me to make the exchange. It is June of 2025 and customer service is still ignoring my emails. Forget about calling them they don’t answer the phone.
